MIDGARD MOUNTAIN

Midgard Mountain is a permaculture farm and versatile venue nestled in Wilsons Creek, near Mullumbimby in the Byron Bay hinterland of Australia’s far east coast. Here the mountain rainforest landscape rises from freshwater creeks on the valley floor to open plateaus, escarpments and the peaks of neighbouring national park.

We are passionate about the deep connection between human health and the living environment and appreciate a rare combination of pristine, abundant mountain spring water, living soils, pure air, rainforest ecology and adjoining national parks just twenty mins from the Pacific Ocean. We pursue creative self-sufficiency with our own water and energy supplies and grow nutrient-dense organic fruits, vegetables, herbs, spices, medicines and resources.

At Midgard we honour the quiet exchange of frequencies and the integrated natural systems and life of the land: the forest, trees, mycelium, native animals and fresh water all integrating with the sacred Sun to help nourish people, plants and animals.

We demonstrate a wide range of permaculture and self-reliance systems, sustainable land management initiatives, enviro and camping technologies, innovative products and creative off-grid homesteading strategies.

During the year, we schedule a range of guest experiences, education, skills training and special events and seasonally, fresh organic produce and hand made products are available.

We had a magical stay with our two boys! The goats were enchanting and our boys loved feeding and spending time with them each day. The location was great for a variety of things to do from beach trips and eating out to nature walks, and Adam was extremely helpful providing recommendations and maps for things to do in the area.

Beautiful quiet location, exactly what we were looking for. The space is kept neat and tidy. The animals are so friendly I was able to sit down with my 6mo and pat them. There are some lovely drives and waterways to explore close by. Adam was super helpful with local info and accomodating to anything that we needed.
